Attabad Lake, in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Hunza Valley, is Pakistan’s top natural attraction. The lake was formed in 2010, after a massive landslide blocked the Hunza River. It is now known for its turquoise water surrounded by towering peaks from the Karakoram Mountains. Boating, fishing, boating with jet skis, scenic drives, and photography are all available to visitors along the Karakoram Highway. Attabad Lake is a great place to go on a road trip in northern Pakistan.
